Volkswagen was fined in Italy for EUR 5 million
German carmaker Volkswagen was fined by antimonopoly agency of Italy for incorrect commercial policy.
As specified in the material, the amount of the fine imposed was five million euros.
The report also notes that the Italian regulator caused discontent software cars with diesel engines, which allows you to bypass environmental regulations.
Earlier, Italian prosecutors began its own investigation against the leadership of the Italian automaker unit caught in the center of the scandal of diesel in the US, Europe and Asia.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the country has sold about 700 thousand cars a “criminal” software.
